Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation terms apply to written cancellations of binding
course registrations and provide reasonable compensation for expenses incurred.

Cancellation by Participant:

Up to 21 days before the start of the course:

– A cancellation fee of 25% of the participation fee will be retained.

– Read REPLACEMENT CLAUSE below

20 days or fewer before the start of the course:

– 100% of the participation fee is due. No refund.

In case of illness, an alternative date may be arranged as a gesture of
goodwill upon presentation of a medical certificate (to be submitted as soon
as possible, no later than 14 days after the missed course). The amount paid
will be credited until redeemed; a refund is excluded in this case.

Replacement Clause

If you find your own replacement (someone you refer or who directly takes your place), we will refund 90% of the amount paid, minus a 10% administrative fee, regardless of the timing of the cancellation. This takes effect once your replacement has booked the course and paid the full amount.

Workshop Cancellation by the Organisers

In the unlikely event that the course is cancelled by the organisers, the
participation fee will be refunded in full as soon as possible, or — by
mutual agreement — credited toward a future course.

The organisers are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by
participants (e.g. travel, accommodation, visa fees).

Governing Terms

These cancellation terms are a summary in English for the convenience of
international participants. The legally binding version is the German
“Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen” (AGB) available at
https://www.simonborgolivier-berlin.de. In case of discrepancies, the German
version prevails.
